If you would like to choose the shape or design of your waffles yourself, HVD can design and manufacture the iron according to your preferences.

- The griddle plates are machined (milled plates).
This operation creates a very smooth surface so the waffle is approx. 20 to 25% larger than when using non-milled plates. This is because the dough undergoes less resistance when the iron is closed and the dough expands. A larger waffle, with the same amount of dough, means more air in the waffle and more air means more flavour.
The heat distribution is also optimal, the contact surface between the heating elements is also milled and 100% equal and thus the resistance has optimal contact over the entire surface.
